But it is easily achievable by taking the time to give your IG page a little extra attention while curating content. We’re here to provide a few tips and tricks to run any type of profile, personal or business, like a boss and make it stand out from the rest!
Think about your audience
Like any business proposal, you must determine who your target audience is and what you want to achieve through your profile. Knowing who you’re creating content for makes generating it that much easier because you get to determine your voice and set the scene for your profile. Use your biography to give a short rundown of who you are and what you do and add a link if you have any!
Think about your look
Envision what you want your profile to look like and how you want it to function. It’s necessary to understand how your audience will interact with your page and what they will gain from that interaction. So always be mindful that carefully curated visuals are essential. Implementing creative visual posts like boomerangs, video animations, and playful colors in your profile will look fun and inviting...especially if you follow a sequence. (Look at IG color transitions.) Visuals should not just be appealing but also pertinent to you and your followers.
Think about your content
Generating content that is real and genuine is important. IMPORTANT. The complaints and protest over photoshopping, fake marketing tactics, and misleading products being sold online have been fundamental in promoting more organic content online. It is necessary to show and approach your audience with good intentions and provide content that you can attest to offline. I wouldn't want to take nutritional advice from someone who promotes clean eating online, but I see him eating an entire pizza pie for lunch every day! If you're struggling with innovative content creation, try contacting other influencers with a following (and similar audiences). Ask them to collaborate so you can get creative on how to implement each other's content on your pages. Another way to add to your creative content is to post stories and videos on IGTV. People value seeing products being used and watching their favorite influencers speak about things they enjoy.
